The five-meter-high avalanche descended near Sentis Peak on the Schwegalp Pass as a result of heavy snowfall, the search for the missing is underway, reports Tagblatt.
It is reported that an avalanche 300 meters wide descended at approximately 16.30 local time on Thursday, resulting in three people received minor injuries. 75 people were evacuated from the hotel Saentis.
