"Difficult with the Duchess": Meghan Markle's Bodyguard Quits After Less Than a Year
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lost one more person from their serving staff. In general, three people have already quit.
Scotland Yard gave an official announcement – Meghan Markle’s personal bodyguard, who began work with the Duchess a year ago, resigned. According to the report, she announced her retirement before Christmas, justifying her dismissal by a lack of willingness to work for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“They had no quarrel with Megan, but it’s hard for the bodyguard to work with her. The Duchess doesn’t like to be restricted and refuses to follow security measures that are simply necessary.”
It turns out that the misunderstanding between the Californian actress and the employee of Scotland Yard arose in Fiji during the Royal tour of Harry and Meghan. Then there were several situations when the Duchess clearly put herself in danger and refused to listen to the guards. Meghan Markle walked into the crowd of fans welcoming her, although the heat and humidity, as well as the requests of the court doctors did not allow the pregnant girl to be on the streets of Fiji for more than 10 minutes. During one of the official exits, Meghan moved away from the guard and was completely alone in the central market. Then the bodyguard had to push the Duchess to the exit from the incoming crowd of fans, which clearly did not like the Royal person.
“It is obvious that Meghan’s Hollywood past prevents her from perceiving the realities of Royal life. The whole family of Windsor since childhood is accustomed to follow the guard, and not to hide from it. Meghan wants to be closer to the people, and the current circumstances clearly restrain her.”
Recall that in late March/early April, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will become the parents of the firstborn. Despite the situation, the 37-year-old Duchess leads an active social life, which, according to insiders, entertains her and does not get bored in the walls of Kensington Palace.
