The United States Administration called back from vacation 50 thousand employees!

The administration of US President Donald Trump called to work about 50,000 civil servants who were sent on forced unpaid leave due to partial suspension of government work, according to the Washington Post.

It is expected that civil servants who are responsible for paying tax refunds, monitor flight safety and carry out inspections of products and medicines will return to work. As the newspaper notes, they will have to work without payment.

On Tuesday, a court in the United States rejected an application from trade unions representing air traffic controllers and other government officials, demanding that the authorities be obliged to pay salaries to employees of federal institutions who were forced to work during the shutdown.

A number of US departments, including the State Department, the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, Transport and Agriculture, have been working in a reduced mode since December 22.

About 800 thousand civil servants either work without payment (if their work is considered important for national security), or they are sent on forced unpaid leave. Shutdown was caused by disagreements between US President Donald Trump and the Democratic Party over the financing of security measures on the southern border.

Trump, for whom the construction of the wall on the border with Mexico was one of the pre-election promises, demands to allocate 5.7 billion dollars for it, refusing to sign the budget otherwise.

The democrats, who received a majority in the House of Representatives as a result of the November elections, are ready to allocate no more than 1.3 billion additional funds.
