Trump approved the construction of another 185 km of the Wall on the border with Mexico

Donald Trump promised to build a Wall on the U.S. border with Mexico during his election campaign in 2016.
Us President Donald Trump has approved a contract for the construction of another section of the Wall on the border with Mexico with a length of 185 kilometers. He wrote about it on Twitter on Tuesday, December 25.
“I’m in the Oval Office and have just issued permission for a contract for another large 115-mile (185-kilometer-ed.) Section of the wall in Texas,” Trump said.

We recall, because of the wall on the border with Mexico, US lawmakers could not adopt the budget for the 2019 fiscal year. Without funding, the State Department, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Internal Security temporarily remained.

On December 21, The House of Representatives approved a project involving the allocation of 5.7 billion dollars for the construction of the fence, although Trump requires 25 billion dollars. Democrats in the Senate have said they have enough votes to block any resolution that includes funding for the Trump Wall.
