Trump has proposed a candidate for the post of Under Secretary of State for Energy

US President Donald Trump nominated entrepreneur Keith Krach to the Senate for the post of Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment. 

According to the press service of the White House, formally in this position, he will have to change Catherine Novelli, who worked in the administration of Barack Obama and left office in January 2017. The duties of the Deputy Secretary of State are now performed by Manisha Singh. 

In addition, Krach has been proposed for the position of Deputy Governor from the United States for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Inter-American Development Bank. 

Krach, who turned 61 in 2018, heads California-based digital technology company DocuSign. He did not have to deal with international activities in government structures before.
