Trump thanks Muller for refuting Buzzfeed's Perjury Report

US President Donald Trump thanked Special Prosecutor Robert Muller for refuting the BuzzFeed article that Trump allegedly ordered his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about the proposed project of the high-rise Trump Tower in Moscow.

Trump told reporters of his pool that he was “grateful” to Muller.

Earlier, the office of the special prosecutor for “Russian intervention,” Robert Muller, stated that the BuzzFeed note that Trump had ordered Cohen to lie to Congress about the proposed Trump Tower project in the Russian capital was incorrect.

The Buzzfeed portal, citing two law enforcement sources, said that Cohen told Muller that Trump personally told him to lie to Congress that the negotiations on the construction of the Trump Tower in Moscow ended a few months earlier than it actually was.

Muller is investigating assumptions about “Russian interference” in the elections, which Moscow refutes, as well as assumptions about Trump’s ties with Russia, which refutes not only the Kremlin, but also the White House.
